Tennis Elbow Therapy

Tennis Elbow Therapy - Golfer’s Elbow

Tennis elbow is the most common reason that people see their doctors for elbow pain. Tennis elbow is a type of tendinitis that causes pain in the elbow and arm. Despite its name, you can still get tennis elbow even if you've never been on a tennis court. In reality, any consistent gripping actions, especially if they use the thumb and first two fingers, may contribute to tennis elbow. The symptoms of tennis elbow include pain and tenderness in the bony knob on the outside of your elbow.

Elbow inflammation and pain can be reduced with modalities and manual therapy or gentle stretching to help move to the next phase of therapy. With elbows it is important to look at the connection to the shoulders. At Realign by Randee, we help progress your movement, strength and level of activity. With posture alignment therapy added we are looking at the connection of the hips/pelvis and shoulders and their influence on swinging motions.

After your treatment, you should experience these advances: gripping objects or bearing weight on your arm or elbow is no longer painful, your injured elbow feels as strong as your other elbow, your elbow is no longer swollen, and you can flex and move the elbow without any trouble.
